Tube end forming machines—such as tube reducers—now utilize high-speed servo drives to achieve fully controlled forming operations. Hydraulic tube benders feature an all-steel welded structure with a top-driven hydraulic system and stress relief via vibration treatment, ensuring high structural strength and rigidity. These machines employ a main hydraulic cylinder (fixed to the side frame) for the downward bending stroke and a nitrogen cylinder for the return stroke, thereby simplifying the hydraulic system and enhancing operational stability.

The range of tube processing equipment is extensive, encompassing CNC, fully automatic, hydraulic, manual, single-head, and double-head tube benders, as well as specialized machines tailored to specific industry needs and varying sizes. Hydraulic tube benders utilize control systems such as NC and PLC, with model selection based on the specific industrial application environment. In the furniture manufacturing industry, for instance, the DW38NC and DW50NC single-head hydraulic tube benders are the most commonly used models. Meanwhile, the SW38NC double-head hydraulic tube bender is frequently employed; its ability to form U-shaped bends in a single operation not only boosts efficiency but also ensures excellent flatness and quality in the bent components.

In contrast, heavy industries such as boiler manufacturing and shipbuilding have different requirements. Given the need to process thick-walled, large-diameter tubing, these applications demand machines with higher power capacities—commonly models such as the DW114NC or DW130NC single-head hydraulic tube benders. Large-scale hydraulic pipe bending machines offer high production efficiency; furthermore, their cold-bending capability eliminates the need for heating the pipes prior to bending, thereby better meeting production requirements.

For automotive component applications, the most commonly used models are the DW50NC single-head hydraulic pipe bender and the DW-89NC hydraulic pipe bender, as the pipe diameters typically range from approximately 50mm to under 70mm. Given the stringent bending requirements for automotive piping components, we generally recommend using CNC or fully automatic pipe bending machines of these specifications to automate the formation of multiple bends; this ensures production precision and enhances overall efficiency.
