① Excessive or insufficient grease in the bearing;
② Poor quality or contaminated grease;
③ Improper fit between the bearing and the shaft journal or end cap (too loose or too tight);
④ Eccentric bearing bore causing friction against the shaft;
⑤ Misaligned motor end cap or bearing cap;
⑥ Misaligned coupling between the motor and the load, or overly tight drive belt;
⑦ Excessive or insufficient bearing clearance;
⑧ Bent motor shaft.

2. Troubleshooting
① Apply grease according to specifications (fill 1/3 to 2/3 of the volume);
② Replace with clean grease;
③ Repair loose fits with adhesive; for tight fits, machine or grind the shaft journal or end cap bore to achieve the correct fit;
④ Repair the bearing cap to eliminate friction points;
⑤ Reassemble the components;
⑥ Realign the coupling and adjust belt tension;
⑦ Replace with a new bearing;
⑧ Straighten the motor shaft or replace the rotor.
