Bent pipes are used almost everywhere in industry—ranging from power infrastructure construction and home renovation to shipbuilding and bridge building. Pipe bending relies primarily on the design of specific molds and the use of bending machines; different applications require different mold configurations. While there is significant market potential for pipe bending in my country, continuous technological advancement means that bending techniques must also evolve to keep pace with the industry. Nevertheless, malfunctions or other issues can occur during routine operation; operators should be able to inspect the machine immediately and make a preliminary assessment based on their observations.
1. If, upon startup, the drive gear and gear ring produce only an idling sound without actually engaging, the issue is likely due to deformation of the gear ring's engagement profile or excessive clearance between the gear and the gear ring. This prevents proper meshing, meaning the starter fails to engage the mechanism and instead causes the gear to spin idly.
2. If the gear and gear ring rotate together after the power is turned on, the coil may be making contact with the power terminal. Alternatively, there could be incorrect wiring at the machine's key switch.
Naturally, low ambient temperatures can also affect the machine's performance. Therefore, when operating a pipe bending machine in winter, it is essential to ensure the operating environment is kept at a suitable temperature.
