RV reducer paired with precision-machined gears achieves high precision
The bending action of this CNC pipe bending machine is completed by a precision RV reducer paired with finely ground gears. The backlash of the reducer is less than 3 arc minutes, and the gear set is designed with a backlash elimination structure. At the same time, the gear transmission eliminates the polygonal effect in the chain transmission process, making the bending angle more refined and significantly improving the arc pushing accuracy.
The 38mm coaxial pipe bending machine integrates left and right bending into one unit and features a multi-layer die design, enabling the bending and forming of various complex shapes. The rotating head allows for switching between left and right bends without affecting the installation of the mandrel and anti-wrinkle dies. It can be used for small-radius, thin-walled pipes.
The machine's control system features an unrestricted self-editing mode, allowing any manually operated action to be edited into an automated workflow, greatly improving the flexibility of the equipment's operation. Additionally, interfaces for MES, robotics, and coordinate measuring machines are reserved, facilitating the expansion and development of automated workstations.
To further improve the bending accuracy, this CNC pipe bending machine adopts a high-end Mitsubishi PLC + absolute servo motor. Through EtherCAT communication, it achieves full closed-loop control at the level of a precision engraving machine, avoiding the accuracy loss caused by signal interference, pulse loss, and origin loss in traditional control methods.
The equipment is based on Advantech's host computer as the hardware platform, and the CNC system for the pipe bending machine was independently developed. In addition to the basic functions of the pipe bending machine, the CNC system has also developed functions such as importing 3D graphics of pipe fittings for self-programming, 3D preview of pipe fittings, dynamic processing simulation, and remote diagnostic assistance.
The 38mm coaxial pipe bending machine is equipped with a high-power feeding servo motor, enabling it to perform arc bending. Simultaneously, the powerful rear push function reduces the out-of-roundness rate at bends. The addition of servo side assist further reduces the pipe clamping section and outer wall thinning rate.
