The working principle of a pipe bending machine involves applying a bending moment through strategically positioned fulcrums and force application points to induce plastic deformation in the steel pipe, thereby achieving cold bending. The lower die is located at the front of the machine and suspended from the frame by a hydraulic cylinder in a floating state. A lifting mechanism guides the pipe from the rear of the machine—passing through the clamp and upper die—into the lower die. An internal mandrel is inserted into the pipe and positioned centrally beneath the upper die; the mandrel's expansion blocks then press against the inner wall of the pipe, preventing abnormal deformation during the bending process.
