Additionally, encoders are used to regulate bending angles, resulting in exceptional angular accuracy and high repeatability. However, like any machinery, pipe bending machines are prone to various issues over time—including hydraulic system leaks. Today, we will discuss how to resolve hydraulic system leakage in pipe bending machines.

The causes of hydraulic system leakage in pipe bending machines are complex, stemming primarily from factors such as vibration, pressure differentials, manufacturing errors, and assembly clearances. Leakage is categorized into two types: external leakage and internal leakage.

External leakage refers to hydraulic fluid escaping from the interior of components or pipe connections to the outside. Internal leakage occurs when a small amount of fluid flows from a high-pressure chamber to a low-pressure chamber within a component due to clearances or wear. External leakage results in fluid waste and environmental pollution, and in severe cases, can cause fires that endanger personal safety. Internal leakage leads to unstable system pressure and flow rates, potentially causing production stoppages.

To minimize leakage in the hydraulic systems of bidirectional pipe bending machines, we implement the following measures:

(1) Reducing the number of pipe fittings and utilizing integrated control valve assemblies to prevent oil leakage;

(2) Extending the directional switching time as much as possible to mitigate hydraulic shock and mechanical vibration during operation;
